BLUE OYSTER CULT

Headliners..

Headliners Blue Oyster Cult were riding the wave of success with their tour for Tyrrant and Mutation when they signed on to be headliners New Years Eve at the Academy of Music with Iggy pop. Little did they know that this night would become one of the most legendary shows in the history of music.

A Haircut and a german band?

as legend goes.. Eric Bloom promised to have a haircut onstage and he did go through with it that night. also they invited the german oompah band from the restaurant Luchow's next door to come onstage with them. this fact is stated in multiple venues but is as of yet unverified.
